Annual performance

Summary -Annual Report 2013-2014

  • During the year, 115 advertisements were published. Out of these, 28 were for "Special Drive Recruitment". The Commission interviewed 1957 candidates for recruitment to various posts. In all, 628 candidates were recommended for appointment including 34 candidates were recommended for appointments from the waiting list prepared in the previous year.
  • During the year, 21 Preliminary Tests were held.

Competitive Examination:

During the year, the Commission published 05 advertisements for Competitive Examination. The Commission invited applications “online” and Received requisition for Special Competitive Examinations. Results of 09 Competitive Examination and 1 Special Competitive Examinations of previous year were declared and 853 and 37 candidate declared successful respectively. At the end of year, 02 Competitive Examinations are yet to be held.

Recruitment Rules:

During the year, the Commission rendered advice for framing / amendment of Recruitment Rules, in 38 and 47 proposals respectively. At the end of the year, the publications of Notifications are pending for framing / amendment of Recruitment Rules, in 57 and 09 proposals respectively.

Disciplinary Proposals:

During the year, the Commission rendered advice in 143 disciplinary proposals. At the end of the year, 81 proposals are pending with the Government for orders. The Commission rendered advice in 06 proposals of Review / Reconsideration of the punishment orders, during the year.

Select List:

During the year, the Commission received 167 proposals, for the promotion of 1394 officers. The Commission rendered advice for 1351 officers and information was sought from the Government in respect of remaining 43 officers.

Ad hoc Appointment:

During the year, the Commission rendered advice for 50 officers in respect of Ad hoc appointment.

Appointment by Transfer:

During the year, the Commission did not receive any proposal in respect of appointment by Transfer.

Recruitment of candidates on reserved posts:

During the year, the Commission had recommended the following candidates, including women candidates women candidates for appointment to the reserved posts through Direct Selection and on the basis of the results of the Competitive Examination.

  • Reservation of posts and Recruitment of women candidates. Number of candidates recommended against reserved posts for women in different categories by Direct Selection and Competitive Examination during the year under report is as under :-

Amongst the candidates recommended above as per the Government Policy, 01 candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, 02 candidates belonging to Scheduled tribes and 01 candidate belonging to Socially & Educationally Backward Classes have been recommended for recruitment by Direct Selection and 04 candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes have been recommended for recruitment by Competitive Examination, against the unreserved posts.

  • Recognition of Educational Qualification Equivalent to the prescribed one
    The Commission did not receive any proposal during the year.
  • Laxity and other irregularities in consulting the Commission
    During the year, the Commission noticed 01 case of laxity and other irregularities in consulting the Commission.
  • Cases in which the Commission did not agree with the proposal of the Government
    During the year, the Commission did not agree with the proposals of the Government, in respect of the 38 officers.
  • Non-acceptance of the Commission's advice by the Government
    One case of non-acceptance of the Commission's advice have been found during the year under report.
  • Candidates declared disqualified
    During the year under report Five candidates have been declared disqualified by the Commission
