Summary of Annual Report 2014-2015
  1. Recruitment by Direct Selection:
    (1)   During the year, 44 advertisements were published. Out of these, 12 were for "Special Drive Recruitment". The Commission interviewed 2738 candidates for recruitment to various posts. In all, 1188 candidates were recommended for appointment including 15 candidates were recommended for appointments from the waiting list prepared in the previous year.
    (2)   During the year, 41 Preliminary Tests were held.
  2. Competitive Examinations:
    During the year, 07 advertisements were published. Out of these, 2 were for "Special Drive Recruitment". The Commission invited applications “online” and received requisition for Special Competitive Examinations. Result of 1 Special Competitive Examination of previous year was declared and 70 candidates declared successful. During the year, 07 Competitive Examinations were held and at the end of year, 04 Competitive Examinations are yet to be held.
  3. Recruitment Rules:
    During the year, the Commission rendered advice for framing and amending the Recruitment Rules in 70 and 25 proposals respectively. At the end of the year, the publications of Notifications are pending for framing and amending the Recruitment Rules in 81 and 13 proposals respectively.
  4. Disciplinary Action Proposals:
    During the year, the Commission rendered advice in 80 proposals for disciplinary actions. At the end of the year, 31 proposals are pending with the Government for orders. The Commission rendered advice in 06 proposals of Review / Reconsideration of the punishment orders.
  5. Select List:
    During the year, the Commission received 121 proposals, for the promotion of 1394 officers. The Commission rendered advice for 1281 officers and information was sought from the Government in respect of remaining 113M officers.
  6. Adhoc Appointment:
    During the year, the Commission rendered advice for 09 officers in respect of Adhoc appointment.
  7. Appointment by Transfer:
    During the year, the Commission did not receive any proposal in respect of appointment by Transfer.
  8. Recruitment of candidates on reserved posts: During the year, the Commission had recommended the following candidates, including women candidates for appointment to the reserved posts through Direct Selection and on the basis of the results of the Competitive Examinations.

  • Amongst the candidates recommended above as per the Government Policy, 10 candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and 09 candidates belonging to Socially & Educationally Backward Classes have been recommended for recruitment by Competitive Examination and 01 candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes, 03 candidates belonging to Scheduled tribes and 09 candidates belonging to Socially & Educationally Backward Classes have been recommended for recruitment by Direct Selection , against the unreserved posts.

    10     Recognition of Educational Qualification Equivalent to the prescribed one
    The Commission did not receive any proposal during the year.
    11     Laxity and other irregularities in consulting the Commission
    During the year, the Commission noticed 01 case of laxity and other irregularities in consulting the Commission.
    12    Cases in which the Commission did not agree with the proposal of the Government
    During the year, the Commission did not agree with the proposals of the Government, in respect of the 132 officers regarding inclusion in select list.
    13    Non-acceptance of the Commission's advice by the Government
    One case of non-acceptance of the Commission's advice has been found during the year under report.
    14    Candidates declared disqualified
    During the year under report, Two candidates have been declared disqualified by the Commission for not following the guidelines and rules for examinations.
